The Family Dog
The family’s dog was bought for a guard,
Chained to a post in a chilly backyard,
Housed in a shed that was airless and dark,
And every few weeks had a run in the park.
When boredom set in with no fun and no work,
One day it broke loose and went quietly berserk
Pa couldn’t fathom just why it went wild,
As it flattened his wife and then bit his child.
The police were called in to sort out the mess,
And the whole sorry tale was revealed by the press,
The Rescue Society was really annoyed,
So, the dog was re-homed — and the owners destroyed.

The Unfit Breeders
The breeder’s dogs were bought for ONE reason:
To produce as many pups as possible each season.
They were not given a clean place to stay,
And in their own filth were made to lay.
After years of lies and many hearts broken,
the word gets out and the truth is spoken.
Tales of deceit, fraud, and theft uncounted
All come to light! These crooks must be routed!
The authorities are called to sort out the mess,
And the whole sorry tale is revealed by the press.
Good wins out! The truth prevailed!
The dogs find good homes –and the breeders are jailed.

I love your version of the poem. Perhaps you should frame it in an 8 x 10 frame and have it hanging in Joan’s cell!!

It made my blood boil that she has all these things posted on her website as if she actually cares for her dogs. It makes me sick!
She also has a list of recommended reading….guess she hasn’t checked most of them out - except maybe the “Dog Owner’s Home Veterinary Handbook” to see what to do with puppies with infected tails…
I also find it EXTREMELY interesting that she has links to all the rottie rescues in the USA. Check it out!
Those girls will not have much left of their butts when their lies all come back to take a bite!

The two poems posted are so very well said and so very sad with hopefully good endings coming for these dogs. And how true that we all needed to come together to get this out in the open. We have also contacted different news media, shows, and are praying that someone picks up this story. Cesar is awesome and good job in contacting him as well as other agencies. And how true that one does go home and give that “extra” hug/kiss to our Rotties and all our animals. There are always lessons in life and there are many coming out in this horrific sad story. I said awhile back to these two when they were pulling their crap with us, “you reap what you sow and God is WAY bigger than you both”. Kinda funny their reply. They told me not to threaten them with God, etc. Had a good laugh about that then and am laughing now as it has come to pass. NOW, keep pushing as the light is getting brighter all the time and we and those poor Rotties are nearing the end of that cold, dark, tunnel. God bless all of you on this site and anyone else doing their best to end this misery. If the poor Rotties could talk, and I always say my animals can! They would verbally thank all of those involved. But hey, soon they will give kisses/hugs to their rescuers as their love is totally unconditional, bless their precious hearts.

I love the poems! they are sad but true as 2 of my friends were taken by joan!! I am glad to hear people are pulling there web links off from them! I am glad people are contacting the proper people and making some aware, I wonder if they will get up and run to another state again? I hope a judge slaps them with.. to never ever own another animal again or they go to jail! If they don’t already? good job everyone, I know you may not have gotten your money back, but this is a good repay for it, for them both to go to jail for all who got screwed over and the other with those pics for animal abuse to each animal, there were 50 some dogs I read? that should put them away for a long time, I hope! does anyone know when this court date is? I think we should get a bus, because that is what you would need and everyone go down to it and let the judge know how people do not stand for ripping people off as stories were told of those it happened too, and abuse / neglect of animals!! I agree this couldn’t had been done alone. I would like to know as far as the e-mails with Dave, who would be in contact with her, to give her a puppy?! do they not know?! I was sooo happy to read that Jazz went back home!
I hope others make it!!! lets continue helping them!! keep up the good work and hug and kiss your pets tonight and Thank God it is not them!! and for the comment, ” no SHOW dog should have to live like that, NO DOG, SHOW OR NOT SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE what those two women put those dog thru!” keep up the good work you guys and God Bless you all!!! a phone call to where need be makes a difference it shows we care about the people screwed over and the dogs living in an awful place!
