  The web master for Whetstone Rottweiler is Joan Foote herself. From a forum, the owner said she cut all ties with Joan in 2003 after finding out what kind on person she was and the condition the animals were living in. She has asked several times for that site to be deleted but Joan has not done so and she isn’t very website savy and can not do it herself.

  If the owner of the site has the username and passwords, I would be happy to VOLUNTEER my services to make the necessary changes.

  Once that is done, she could find a suitable person to replace Joan as the webmaster. Also, I would recommend that a person that you have cut ties with not be the person responsible for maintaining your website. My suggestion would be to change all passwords immediately and find someone else to do the job.

  Whetstone Rottweilers has not been updated since 2003. I beleive that Joan made the page 100% for her and that the owner of Whetstone has no information that would allow anyone but Joan to delete the page. Joan was her first dogs breeder and was her mentor in the show world untill she saw who she was really learning from.

  It looks like Whetstone was able to find her username and password after all. A fellow member on a Rott forum was able to take Joan Foote off the bottom of the page and the “Thunder Valley Rottweiler” link at the bottom of the page now comes… HERE.

  I called and spoke to the owner of Poppy’s Puppies to see if he was aware of the storm surrounding Joan - he was not, as she just did his site (uncompleted) and does not do any business with her. I asked how he knew her and he said his daughter bought a dog from them and it was not a good experience….imagine that! Anyway, he said he would take his site down and tell his daughter to google Thunder Valley Rottweilers ….maybe she will tell her story as well.

  I called another kennel and was blasted as being a slanderer…. I tried to explain that I was only trying to warn people about being associated with Joan. Was NOT a pleasant conversation.

  Truth… what kennel called you a slanderer? I would like to publicize that, so that people know who is in cahoots with Joan.

  I don’t want to say at this point. It is possible that this person has seen a lot of infighting among kennels over the years and assumed that I was just another person trying to spread bad rumors about people. I am sure that actually does happen. Don’t want to slam anyone for being cautious. The only association she had with Joan was to update her website early this year- and of course, Joan used the opportunity to build ANOTHER link to Thunder Valley.

  But, just maybe this person will visit here and see just who is telling the truth and who is not…

  After reading “Truth’s” comment regarding as being blasted a “slanderer”, I couldn’t help but jump in on this too with my two or three cents worth. I do know a bit about the law after dealing with these “less than honest” people from Thunder Valley Rottweilers. First and foremost, let me explain in laymens terms exactly what a “slanderer” means. Naysayers, read this carefully as I will only say it once (for those that do not know and are quick to criticize/point fingers). According to the Webster’s Dictionary and in every law office around, a “slanderer” simply means, “1. the oral utterance or spreading of a falsehood, harmful to another’s reputation: etc.” NOW, if at ANY time, anybody out there can PROVE that what we (all of us) have brought forward regarding Thunder Valley Rottweilers is “False” in any way shape or form, then like David says “BRING IT ON!!!” Do they not think we have our name and rep on the line for God’s sake as well. But, we are on a campaign to stop this horrificness and in NO way am I “scared, intimidated, ashamed, or worried” I have told a “falsehood” of anything I have posted here or have uttered from my own lips. I do believe the others will stand with me on this. Now, with this being said, lets keep focused on the big picture and not get side tracked. This did not happen overnight, and will not go away overnight. And for every “naysayer” out there, there are WAY more of us coming forward. You will not stop us and good luck in trying.

  Now that is what I am talking about, strength and naysayers, Joan Foote, Stephanie Paulter, Thunder Valley Kennels BE WARNED .. we will not be stopped, we will never give up, we will not be put down, we will not sway in our pupose, we will STOP this . We will save these animals, we will stop you from taking monies that are not rightfully yours, we will make you answer for what you commited to do then not done. We will band together and allow justice to make its way into the madness you have created. We will never let up until justice is served and these ” Champions” are allowed to live as intended. Everytime I look Sydney in the eyes, I feel what she must have felt having to live as she was forced to live, everytime I put her “nighty night” I feel guilty for crate training her and wonder what she must be thinking as she enters her crate. That is not fair, justice for all these animals is the important issue here . Accountablity for you and your methods and actions will have its day and be heard in all the animal world. David

  Hello,

  I’m Elisabeth Whetstone of Tanzbar Rottweilers.

  I think it’s high time we all focus on what’s really going on here.

  Joan Foote needs to be stopped. There is a child now involved in this insanity, and a plethera of dogs that also need our assistance.

  As stated in my post above, I learned many hard lessons in fairly short order in my dealings with Joan Foote.

  I brought Ms. Foote to the attention of the authorities in Florida, and at the time, since there were no outward signs of abuse to the animals, they would not intervene.

  As Ms. Foote’s behavior was bound to worsen, it has been only a matter of time before she would sink to the levels she has now.

  This woman needs help. The child involved needs HELP NOW, and we, as a group of people who have had dealings with Joan Foote, and more recently Stephanie Paulter, have a lot of work to do to make things right for these animals.

  I emailed and placed a phone call to Celina over the weekend. I have not heard back from her.

  How are we all going to get things organized here so that we can assist in the rescuing of this child and these animals?

  I have known Joan Foote for years, thankfully the only money she got from me was for her supposed magazine. The pictures of those poor dogs and the conditions they are being kept in brought tears to my eyes.

  I will be happy to help in any way I can. Transportation, letter writing, etc. I cannot foster as I don’t have the space. I will e-mail Elisabeth and see what I can do to help her.

  Carol, if you know any of the folks listed that still have links to Thunder Valley could you call/email them to alert them?

  I am afraid that someone I called got the totally wrong idea that I was somehow calling them to threaten them by saying they were connected with Joan - and that it might be perilous for them to remain connected.
