I am very aware of Hunter Lund’s posting on Rottie L. I am also very aware of the mass emails & pictures that he has distributed, trying to hurt or discredit this web site. I will not throw stones at this man. I will also not tell him Shame on you. I will simply say that each one of us is responsible for our own actions.
I am very proud of the fact, that I personally flew from Portland, Oregon to Tennesse. I was a non believer to the many emails, phone calls & pictures myself. I am now an eye witness to the living conditions of my dog Jazz, and all the other rotties on Joan Foote & Stephanie Paulter’s property. They were absolutly non acceptable for my rottweiler, or for even the worst animal shelter’s care. Becouse I took a stand, becouse numerous amounts of people stood up, Joan Foote & Stephanie Paulter along with their grounds keeper, worked around the clock to clean up the living conditions of the Rotties. THAT IN ITSELF WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY I SPENT!
All I want is for the Rotties to be fed & taken care of. I am ashamed of myself for disbelieving now. I am ashamed for putting Joan Foote in the same class of some of the GREAT kennels out there. My part in all of this has helped Joan Foote to look in her back yard & clean it up! I will absolutly pat myself & many others on the back for that.
Yet in good concious, I will NEVER RETURN A LIVE ANIMAL TO THUNDER VALLEY ROTTWEILERS! Money is not worth the life of any living, breathing animal. I have been threatened on an almost daily basis. I have been told to return a puppy that I not only paid for in full, but that took me 3 1/2 years to get. In good concious on my part, could never as a person live with the fact that I sent anything back to the conditions I EYE WITNESSED MYSELF. Yes, I would love nothing more than to be able to get my Maik daughter off of Joan Foote’s property. But, not at the expense of another living animal. So, now it is up to the Courts to decide this matter.

Awesome post Sara! Let me add that however much they might have cleaned up the grounds/kennels, they are still “wolves in sheep clothing”. Do NOT kid yourselves people. Even though this is wonderful for the dogs for the time being, one has to be a realist and ask how long will this last. Did they do this for the love of our breed? Did they do this because they all of a sudden found a heart and actually care about the animals they have been mistreating for so long? Do they care about the sick pups that have left their place? And do they care about all the poor unsuspecting customers that they have wronged to include us? My answer to ALL those ?s is a firm, loud, NO! I would love to be proven wrong. The day they actually shut down will be a day of celebration for all of us and those poor Rotties. Then, and only then, will I pat “them” on the back for doing the right thing.
