Hello Joan, Wow, all I can say is WOW. I cannot fully express just how disappointed I am in you. Norma and I have both placed unfailing trust in you and now to find out just what is really going on in the world of thunder valley kennels. I have visited the new blog area concerning you and the way you conduct business at your kennel. Disappointment has now become anger. I know that AKC has suspended your kennel rights and any dogs from your kennel or any dogs currently in your kennel cannot be registered with them a situation that may also become permanent. So how about what really happened with the monies sent to you for our Serbian puppy? We both know what happened to those monies now don’t we ! ? Back in July of 2007 you and I had a conversation concerning the resolution of the monies we had entrusted with you for a new puppy, as a matter of fact payment in full not just a deposit. I expressed to you at that time not only my displeasure at the way you were handling fulfilling our agreement but also the type of person that I am. I gave you fair warning about my feelings concerning trust, faith and commitments. You did at that time offer a solution, a resolution of sorts, your offer to Norma and I was a 6 month old puppy (Sydney) which we reluctantly decided to accept in order to bring this whole issue to closure. Now it seems you have taken advantage of us once more. I suppose by trusting you as a friend and fellow Rottweiler lover along with our expression of just how pleased we were with Sydney especially since we really did not want a 6 month old puppy, it gave you an idea that we were weak or possibly a good target for more exploitation. So when you called and told us of a really good offer of another puppy. One that was imported from Serbia, or as you put “a once in a lifetime opportunity”, we threw caution to the wind and jumped in with you again. We took faith in you and sent you the requested deposit, well we sorta took trust, you will recall we sent you via the US postal service registered mail service a certified bank check for $1000.00 US. A check which was signed for and then cashed. At this point I would suggest that you look up the legal definition of mail fraud and while your at it look up the wire fraud definition also (monies sent via western union to the Serbian seller) . Speaking of fraud, when did Niki die? and how could we have been on a litter 4 to 6 weeks after her death? How could she have been fat with puppies when she was already deceased? FYI, I still have every email we have exchanged either sent or received, not to mention copies of wired monies and my cashiers check. My behavior is not in question here as I have always met or exceeded anything you have requested or required of me in any of our agreements 100%. I have always answered your phone calls or emails. Every time monies were asked of me I delivered on time and without fail. You cannot say the same thing for your behavior. So here is how I see it, we have nothing to discuss, period.  DO NOT CALL ME I am done talking to you about any of this, I am done listening to all the sad stories, I am done waiting for you to perform as promised. This is what I expect from you, non negotiable, period. Hardball time Joan !! I know that you have a number of puppies at your kennel that have not had paper issued in thunder valleys name, I also know that AKC will not grant any new registrations of puppies in thunder valleys name, having a puppy that cost this much money and cannot be registered with AKC is not acceptable to me. I also know about the web / blog support site concerning you and your kennel. I also know about investigations being looked at by your local prosecutor, DA John Gallaway, Esquire, he has started investigations concerning acts of criminal intent or acts concerning puppies/animal treatment/mistreatment, deposits issues along possible litter switching. I am also aware of your bankruptcy filing so getting a refund from you surely is out of the question. I cannot even believe you were even brazen enough to call me two days ago to see if I wanted to become a CO-owner of a dog with you, a very bold move on your part especially knowing all that is going on with you personally not to mention and your kennel. All the while your acting like we are friends and how you so much want to make sure we get a great puppy, telling me how your putting us on Nani’s litter and how big she is, so on so on or better yet blah blah blah. Now all of that really gets my blood boiling. You were setting me up to rip me off some more monies, once more taking advantage of my good will towards you not to mention your toying with Norma’s and I emotions once more. So Joan, here is what I want, I want a healthy show quality puppy or young FEMALE  under the age of 24 months, one NOT registered or had any paperwork filed to you or your Kennel, one that you actually can legally transfer to Norma and I. One that can be legally registered with AKC, one that is from and whom the line as stated not so litter switch, I want the name of the bitch and the name of the stud along with all the contact info for the stated parents. I may should I choose to have the puppy I select DNA’ed so do not even consider any funny business. You need to provide me immediately a list of what female puppies I have to choose from. I will make my choice from that list. I will not be sending you any more monies than you have already been paid, period. I will then expect my choice to be shipped healthy, alive and with all proper legal papers via the airlines COD to me. After that point, when my exact terms as outlined are met, I can promise you that will never hear from Norma or myself again. However, be fair warned, should my terms not be met expressly and 100% as I have requested. I will pursue any and all possible legal action afforded me by both state and federal law regardless of cost to me. I DO NOT MAKE THREATS, I AM A MAN OF MY WORD AND A PERSON OF ACTION. As I expressed to you back in July of 2007, do not make this a moral issue with me, that its not about the monies. Your action or better yet lack or action has now made it a moral issue with me. The ball is in your court Joan, once again do not call me to discuss anything. All I have to say has been said in this email. I need your response via email immediately.  ONCE MORE DO NOT CALL ME< I WILL NOT DISCUSS THIS ORALLY WITH YOU >> PERIOD !!!!! Please be advised should you chose to not accept or meet my terms as outlined. I have already spoken to my Attorney, FYI she is an Ex US Attorney now in private practice, although she is unable to practice law in your state, she has advised me of the correct course of action, she will be contacting the local courts and Mr. Gallaway on Norma’s and I behalf not to mention her contacts made while she worked for the Federal Government. First off, I have no idea what blog you are talking about or what it says.  Regarding the Serbian puppy, yes I sent your money to Serbia.  I am forwarding to you the emails that I received concerning this kennel, so that you can see what was sent to me regarding them.  We have more than one dog named Niki - I also have a Nikita and we had a rescue dog named Niki.  There was nothing foul about that.  The rescue dog was the one we had put down back in April.  Not our Niki or our Nikita.  our Niki died when she was pregnant.  I don’t know if it was that something happened internally from the pregnancy, or not.  But she was pregnant and getting fat when she died.  Next, we are not on suspension with the AKC.

Everyone has friends and everyone has enemies.  I have had some problems with certain people and they like to color things in their favor to the point of outright lying.  I am not even sure who told you all of this, and like I said, I have not seen the ‘blog’ about it, so it is hard to respond.  I have never registered puppies as another litter.  I have never used a stud dog that was not the correct dog.  I have had a few people accuse me of switching puppies - totally unfounded!  Just because I have 2 litters at my property at the same time, does NOT mean that I move them.  I know about DNA’ing so why would I do that? It has not been done.  What puppies are at my kennel that have not had papers issued?  Everyone here has papers other than the litter that we just had. 

I don’t have any investigations concerning me.  You can call the Jamestown Police Department and ask for Detective Ron Whited and ask him.  I have some idiot people from Oregon who showed up last week - they claim that they have pictures of my dogs and horses being too thin.  I asked them to point to the dog or horse - the horses don’t even match up with the color horses I own.  And my dogs are not thin.  I have had the TN State Vet out here for a spot check (thanks to other friends of theirs) and we passed with flying colors.  I have his written summary, if you would like it.  Same for the local sheriff that they called - they don’t have any problem with our dogs or horses, etc.  In fact, the police said we both had legal rights to the dog from Oregon and they were going to make the people stay until Tuesday and have a judge decide since we both had papers proving ownership.   I offered them a resolution - they signed an agreement that was witnessed by two detectives and I let them leave with the dog - good riddance.   Then then inform me that now that they have what they want, that they are not going to return my dog to me and that I need to sue them.  I am pursuing fraud charges against them myself, not to mention slander and defamation of character as they are saying things here are “dire” when in fact they are not - as witnessed by my local police.  I am the one who is being shorted - the state vet and the police have both told me that there is nothing wrong with the condition of our dogs - no matter that anyone else says that the police say otherwise - I tell you to call them and ask them yourself.  Or if you want, I can scan the state vet’s report and send it to you.

I was offering you a co-ownership on a very nice dog.  I as not trying to scam you in any way.  I have not tried to rip you off in any way.  Nani is due to have puppies any day now by Rathko - and I did offer you a very nice puppy and fully intended to sell it to you.  If you don’t want the Nani puppy, then I am not sure what to offer you per your statements above.  You want a list of female puppies that have nothing to do with me?  Well then how am I to procure that?  I don’t own or have access to any such female puppies.
