  I have talked to the owners of Black Boy. He was very fortunate to have found such an awesome home.
  Thank you once again to all the breeders out there, who are sending people to this site. Black Boy could not be loved any better. But, once again there are more victims who have been lied to from the very beginning.
  We are looking for a male and a female out of this litter still. They were born on 9/14/2007. The parents are suppossed to be Rathko X Jordyn. Only DNA will prove the parentage in the end.
  Anyone with offspring from Rathko and Berlin, PLEASE DNA your dogs immediatly. We need the database for the DNA profiles on these puppies. Contact Sara if you have any questions. (503) 621-9836 or email vonsarcorottweilers@msn.com

  My heart goes out to Black Boy Rottie pup and his new owners. It is a very blessed thing that he is now in your care and not Joan Foote’s. Please know that there are many things happening to eventually shut down Thunder Valley Rottweilers and to end once and for all, Joan Foote’s horrendous crimes and inhumane treatment of these precious Rotties. We have stated it time and again on this site our sad stories and our resolve to help end this nightmare created by the worst crooks we have come across in a long time. With each and every new victim, we dig our heels in a little deeper, knowing we are not giving up and that there is a light at the end of this long, dark, tunnel. Court dates are coming soon, justice will begin to be served, and God is doing His work. Please have faith and know that there will be an end to the pain and suffering. It did not happen overnight, and will not go away overnight. But rest assured, we are all here to see this to the bitter end.

  And Joan Foote, there WILL be an end to your criminal ways, your cruelty, and Thunder Valley Rottweilers. You are not more powerful than God and you are about to find that out.

  I was a co-owner of a bitch out of Rathko/Berlin who was born in Jan. of ‘o6 (my friend and I have recently decided that I will not be a co-owner at this time, so that part has changed). Thankfully, we were able to get the papers on the puppy, after a year! I will remind my friend that she needs to do the DNA test on her bitch, so that you can add it to your database, although the bitch certainly looks like both Rathko and Berlin. My greatest fear is that Joan is still breeding Berlin! She, Berlin, is a wonderful, beautiful bitch and deserves her retirement, which I doubt that she is enjoying, as long as she is in the clutches of Thunder Valley Rottweilers.
  My heart, too, goes out to any new people who are taken in by Joan and/or Stephanie. Let’s not forget in our prayers that there are other animals and a small child in those horrible conditions and hope for a righteous conclusion soon!

  Thanks to all who have posted, your support, and kind words.

  We are proud owners of “black boy” posted above - keeping with tradition of roman inspired pet names (old rottie was Zeus & Xena) … we named him Maximus Decimus Meridius (inspired by movie Gladiator).

  He is an adored member of our family & apparently has a passion for fine (& expensive) women’s shoes vs. readily available chew toys :-). He has a significant overbite & is being re-tested for heart murmur next week.

  We are blessed to have a vet who owns and shows Rottweilers & they are his passion. Under his cautious watch we are trying to get him to proper weight as he was very concerned about his size at 11 wks (runt or not). Although 35 pds seems small for 6 1/2 months our vet assures us he is healthy at this weight.

  He was very shy at first - but I am ensuring he has LOTS of socialization with other pets & people. He has doggy daycare 3x a week (which he loves), lots of visiting “friends” & their dogs at our house, obedience classes (he has mastered sit, stay, wait, come, shake, leash walking and how to eat snacks without getting any fingers from small children), a 7 yr. old whom he adores & adores him, and in time even our cat (Shiva) may come around to liking him.

  If I can figure out how to post some new pictures of him - I will def. share.

  PS Can someone provide any details how to go about DNA’ing him?

  To the family of Black Boy. Welcome, your in the right place. Not all Rotti breeders are criminals. Like that crook Joan Foote of Thunder Valley Rottweilers in TN. As of today she is still up and running. Stealing from people. Google even has her listed under (breed of ethics) breeder of Rottweilers. What’s up with that?

  Sorry, I hate to sound so cynical. It’s just, the wheels of justice turns to slowly for me. With the realization, I may never have paper for my dog in my mind. I’m bitter and all this DNA stuff……frankly, sounds like a pain in the ass. And years and years of work. I feel it’s the AKC and the Rotti Breed that will miss out if I can’t Show or Breed Blitz. As a first time Rotti owner. I may not know all what it takes to make a champion. I would put Blitz up to any 7 month old out there. I hate Joan for a lot of reasons but Blitz ain’t one. 68 lbs and very handsome, on the working field already. I’m still going for working titles with him. So all in all I’m happy. I now have the best dog I have ever owned. Let be clear thought, I still want justice for TVR. The papers on the other hand. Seem to be to much work. I want to enjoy my dog.

  Hi Dunk31. I wanted to comment on your post and to please ask you to not give up and I will explain why. My heart also goes out to you and the fact that you have no papers at this time. BUT, lets back this whole mess up and work our way forward.

  I started with Joan Foote back in 2004, went the whole route(my story is mentioned in previous posts), finally got lucky enough to receive my papers but it took over a year and yes it was hard. And there are worse stories mentioned on this site. Now, I will get to my point. At NO time did I give up and allow Joan to win. When this site started up in approx. Dec. 07, I JUMPED on the bandwagon along with the other members to try and help others even though I had my papers. Did I feel bitter, hatred, many other emotions when this first happend to me? You bet I did. Was it a pain in the ass to keep on? Did it take a couple of years? You bet it did. But with each and every new victim coming aboard on this site, along with the rest of us here, we started a mission to shut Joan Foote’s criminal behavior and cruelty down and have resolved to not quit until it is done. Is there progress? You bet your sweet ass there is. Can you see all the progress right now? Trust me, it is there and happening and things are going on behind the scenes to end this nightmare. I TOTALLY understand your frustration, your pain, your wanting to just go on and enjoy your precious Rottie. But we cannot and will not allow ourselves the luxury to call it a day until Joan Foote’s criminal ways are done forever. The DNA is important, the court cases are important, our not giving up is important. Look at the progress and how many have been saved from following in our footsteps and purchasing from these crooks. As it stands, Thunder Valley Rottweiler’s reputation is destroyed and they will NEVER command the money they used to or have the customers they used to have. We pray they will NEVER breed another Rottweiler again when all is said and done. I will say it again. Is there progress? You bet there is. You have to believe this and know this. Hang in there with us and see this nightmare to the end. It WILL happen and IS happening.

  Animal Cruelty is just the beginning. There reputation has been going in the dumps for the past couple years. Thunder Valley Rottweilers and Joan Foot are done.

  Sorry for sounding so gloomy and defeated. I will never quit, never. I won’t let her win, we can’t.

  I’m just mad, and disappointed. The first USRC show I had planed to enter. Is coming up in two weeks in PA. I’m still going, for I have a lot to learn about Rotti’s yet. I also want to see how he compares to other Rottweilers his age. I must admit, I have a bias opinion when it comes to my boy, Blitz. He’s my Champion, papers or not.

  Dunk; please do not apologize for your feelings. They are very understandable and many of us, to include myself, have been there and done that. What is most important, is that you just stated “I will never quit, never”. That is key to helping shut Joan Foote and her criminal enterprise down. Good job Dunk and keep hanging with us for the wheels of justice are beginning to turn!
