Thought some of you might enjoy some cute pictures of our favorite breed.
This is Roscoe with his ‘brother’ Doobie. Roscoe says “Watch this, I’m
gonna show him who’s boss around here!”

Roscoe says “I’m not afraid of you just ‘cuz you’re bigger ‘an me!”
Doobie says “That’s nice, I like puppies.”

How are you getting the pics of your dog on here? We talk about our dogs, but I would love to see a face to the name. I noticed that Doobie was wearing a body harness. Khori also wears one. I like the extra handles if I need them. Khori has a cute butt like Roscoe.

The picture of Doobie is very old. We did away with the body harness long ago. Our theory is that it encourages the dog to pull against us where he is the strongest.
We changed over to gentle leaders some time ago for that reason. We can easily control the dogs by just turning their heads.
For control when they get really out of hand on a walk, we have some really beefy collars with a handle on them that are 2 inches wide.
Check them out here: http://www.fordogtrainers.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=131

With the harness it gives me more of a sense of security. At times I need something to grab onto with him. He doesn’t pull on leash by wearing it, because of his training. I have a multi function leash, so one end is hooked to the harness, and the other is either hooked to his flat collar or his halti. I keep his halti handy incase a dog goes off at him, and then he has to return the favor. Thanks for the website on the collars.
